Blue Toile de Jouy Bow Tie
MADE IN FRANCE
This collection has been developed in collaboration with the official Toile de Jouy printer, based in France. The pattern is based on a drawing from the oldest engravings made by J.B.Huet around 1785. It is still produced in France thanks to the traditional technique of the screen printing which allows a high-precision.
This bow tie was carefully handcrafted by CINABRE artisans in France, following the same techniques for 3 generations.
The bow tie is made from an authentic Toile de Jouy with a CINABRE red silk twill lining. Since the design we chose has lots of different patterns, each bow tie will be slightly different and unique. Don't hesitate to add a note to your order with your design preferences among those 3 options: a bow tie with a pattern having mainly large characters, a bow tie with mainly floral patterns or a mainly white bow tie with less pattern.
The bow tie you will receive will be tied already and ready to use. It is an authentic bow tie which means you will have the opportunity - if you want - to untie your bow tie and tie it again your own way. To learn how to tie a bow tie, have a look here.
To make your bow tie even more unique, a name or initials and a date can be handwritten on the label.
You can personalize the label of your bow tie with a handwritten name (or initials) and date.
This personal touch is not visible when you’re wearing the bow tie, as it is on the label sewn onto the inner lining.
Please indicate what information you would like to include during the checkout procedure, after choosing the delivery method.
WANT TO CHANGE THE RED LINING?
You can customize this bow tie by choosing to have it made without CINABRE’s signature red lining. The lining will then be made from the same fabric as the bow tie. To do so, select the
classic bespoke bow tie style.
Allow about two or three weeks for preparation.
