THE COLOR OF YOUR NIGHTS
There are two types of people at 4 AM: those who are asleep, and those settling the final details of a conversation started the evening before. For both, we craft a night wardrobe built to seamlessly transition from the club to the lounge, and from the lounge to the bedroom. Personally, my night-out rotation alternates between a blazer over pajamas, and a dressing gown over a tuxedo.
To keep dressing your nights, we just dropped a new collection of dressing gowns.
THE NIGHT PALETTE
Until now, our wool gabardine dressing gown collection came in five existing shades: Navy Blue, Plum, Brown, Powder Pink, and Cream.
Now, four new tones join the lineup, carefully selected to light up your evenings: Roussillon, Khaki, (Parisian) Sky Blue, and Opera Mauve.
A CINEMATIC DRAPE
We cut these new pieces from the same woven Loro Piana wool gabardine selected for our initial colors. You simply won't find a better drape—matte, supple, and catching the light with quiet restraint. Inside, a full cream Bemberg satin lining ensures a frictionless glide, finished by pristine white piping.
For the tailoring, we returned to Milan, to a historic atelier specialized in crafting dressing gowns (one of them appeared on screen in The Godfather).
OUR LATEST PAJAMA PARTY
Last week, we turned our Suites at 14 Cité Bergère into a playground for a few clients, with our partner Hästens, the Swedish Maison behind the world’s most coveted mattresses (crafted in my mother's hometown, no less). It was the perfect excuse to prove that, between two fully handmade beds—the Cinabre Suites being the only hotel in France equipped with Hästens—our nightwear is definitely not just for sleeping.
The verdict: paired with a double-breasted blazer, the pajamas hold their own with a glass in hand. And our dressing gowns are more than ready to follow suit to close out the night.
