History
This tie is a nod to the single stripe ties from the 60'.
Fabric
The material is a mix of cotton and cashmere with a super-soft hand-feel. The stripes are made in a silk twill. The tie lining is the signature red silk twill.
MADE IN FRANCE
This tie was carefully handcrafted by Cinabre artisans in France, following the same techniques for 3 generations. The stripes are cut by hand and assembled as a patchwork.
Details
This piece is entirely handmade with a red slip stitch making a loop at the bottom of the tie. The fabric will then keep its elasticity and the tie will recover its initial shape after being used.
To make your tie even more unique, a name or initials and a date can be handwritten on the label.
Recommendations
We really like the soft hand-feel and the casual style of the material of this tie. As linen, our tie can sometimes be wrinkled. Here are some care advices: you can iron your tie while covering it with a thin cotton fabric. Choose a program on your iron between wool and cotton, and vaporize your tie while ironing it above the fabric.
