Story
This tie is part of the collection made in collaboration with the MARINE NATIONALE brand - The French Navy. It depicts a submarine that gradually dives into the sea until only its periscope is visible. Once the submarine is completely submerged, it becomes invisible as the black color melts into the deep blue of the tie. This is how submarines carry out their missions unseen, unheard, and undetected. This tie celebrates the submariners who operate the French Navy’s 10 submarines in all the seas that span the globe.
Fabric
The material is a navy blue linen and cotton fabric with white stripes that offer a beautiful weave. The tie lining is a red silk twill, the Cinabre signature.
Details
This piece is entirely handmade with a red slip stitch making a loop at the bottom of the tie. The fabric will then keep its elasticity and the tie will recover its initial shape after being used. It is also a "double-four-fold" tie with a 100% wool interlining. These additional folds require much more fabric and more handwork resulting in an elegant drape. Furthermore, this exclusive "savoir faire" will provide a better shape over time.
To make your tie even more unique, a name or initials and a date can be handwritten on the label.
