The CINABRE scarves are made in Auvergne, France, in the middle of its Regional Nature Reserves. The atelier makes every manufacturing steps, from weaving to finishs, backed by its 75 years old savoir-faire. The scarves are finished with saddle stitches.
The French and Swedish designer wanted an oversized scarf to fight the cold of its native country, that’s why he made a 220cm x 60cm scarf instead of the 180cm x 35cm standard size. The merinos wool had been refined and reworked to obtain a flowing piece despite its large size. It had also been cut in bias to get a nice hang. The pattern, inspired by the Russian Constructivism movement of the 1920's, has a graphic look.
The fabric is a merinos wool in order to obtain a soft and fluffy touch. This retighten thread and thinner fabric than traditional wool does not sting and has a thermic regulation for any occasion.
