SIZE
The bow tie is oversized (3,7x4,3 inches). It reminds the elegance of the large and vintage butterfly bow ties.
FABRIC
The bow tie is entirely made of exclusive midnight black silk satin. The fabric is made on a 19th century loom that runs at a slow pace to preserve the fiber's quality. In order to obtain the best intensity of blue and a high quality the satin is woven with an exceptional thread density (160 bare thread passages / inch). The lining is made of Cinabre red twill silk.

DETAILS
The bow tie you will receive will be tied already and ready to use. It is an authentic bow tie which means you will have the opportunity - if you want - to untie your bow tie and tie it again your own way. To learn how to tie a bow tie, have a look here.
To make your bow tie even more unique, a name or initials and a date can be handwritten on the label.

You can personalize the label of your bow tie with a handwritten name (or initials) and date. This personal touch is not visible when you're wearing the bow tie, as it is on the label sewn onto the inner lining.

You can customize this bow tie by choosing to have it made without Cinabre's signature red lining. The lining will then be made with the same fabric as the bow tie. To do so, select the classic bespoke bow tie style and during check out, leave us a message with the design you would like us to customize. Allow about two or three weeks for preparation.
