Cinabre has taken the men's and women’s dressing gown out of the closet and is counting on you to make him/her (and it) dance the night away. Yes, we're talking about dressing gowns..
In the 16th century, shirts were considered undergarments, and it was customary to wear a dressing gown at home when welcoming guests. Since then, it has been unjustly relegated to “something to throw on first thing in the morning just out of bed”, and worn with charentaises (slippers). I decided to give the “traditional” dressing gown a breath of fresh air.
MADE TO ORDER
Cinabre dressing gowns are meticulously custom-made in a world-renowned Italian workshop, distinguished for the exceptional quality of its creations. Choose the style and size of your choice, then allow 6 to 8 weeks for your exclusive piece to be tailored to your specifications..

DAY
Our robes are fully lined in satin. Wear them for relaxing at home. It’s a perfect accompaniment to the indulgent winning trio of hot coffee - bubble bath - Grace Jones vinyl (or pajamas – bowl of your favorite Kellogg's – cartoons. It's up to you.)
NIGHT
My intention in creating these dressing gowns was to take them out of their usual function as loungewear and dream up an evening black-tie version. Tested and approved.
EXCEPTIONAL FABRICS
FRENCH COTTONS
Toile de Jouy and frame-printed floral fabrics from France. Patterns vary according to the cut, making each piece unique.
ENGLISH STRIPES
Thick wools made in England, north of Manchester. A selection of colorful stripes with an English country vibe.
VELVETS
Velvet made of 470g modal and cotton with discreet satin shimmers. Like wrapping yourself in an exquisite royal train and soft down all at the same time.
BABY CAMEL
The extreme softness of this fabric is achieved by the fineness of the fiber it's made from: “baby camel” or camel hair.
