SAVED

We all have that one shirt. The one that’s seen a few too many late nights. The one that’s lived through your best stories. Its cuffs are exhausted, its collar has surrendered, but parting with it is out of the question. Cinabre is now ready to admit it for intensive care.

THE PROCEDURE

Whether it comes from Cinabre or another label, our specialists operate on your shirt to give it a second wind. The weary collar or cuffs are replaced with sturdy, immaculate white cotton elements—most notably our signature "Cocteau" collar. Designed as a nod to the ever well-tied poet, it stands tall without ever feeling stiff, featuring the exact opening needed to let a necktie or bow tie speak for itself.

Your shirt suddenly takes on a sharp, two-tone silhouette. Ready for the next decade.

A TREATMENT PLAN AGAINST « READY-TO-WASTE »

Repairing a tired piece isn't just about nostalgia; it's a matter of principle. At Cinabre, we champion a wardrobe built to last. A garment is only truly well-crafted if it can age right alongside you.

It’s a philosophy we’ve long practiced at our Tie Hospital. We offer meticulous cleaning to restore a piece's original luster, or replace the interlining and lining to give it back its structure. If the width of your tie gives away its age a bit too much, we can also slim it down. In every case, the piece is carefully reassembled by hand and secured with a new reinforcing bar tack.

PARISIAN CONVALESCENCE

Since we're on the topic of rescue operations, here are a few trusted Parisian addresses to:

Repair your sneakers: At La Cleanique, sneaker surgeons clean, stitch, and re-dye the leather. Plus, their operating room is right next door to Cinabre, at 33 rue Bergère in the 9th arrondissement.

Repair your knitwear: Momoko used to be a knitwear specialist for Balmain, Lanvin, and Courrèges. She can save you from a moth attack, thread by thread, by reconstructing the missing weave. You can request a quote directly on her website.

Repair it yourself: "Sashiko" is an ancestral Japanese embroidery technique, originally designed to patch, reinforce, or quilt indigo canvas workwear. Instead of hiding the hole, you reinforce it with white thread in geometric patterns. L'Espace Japon (Paris 10e) is the perfect place to try your hand at this fascinating craft... or to realize after fifteen minutes that you'd much rather outsource the problem!

Long live your clothes,
